Day Trips
Seattle
For some Seattle is considered North America's coffee capital. With its liquid sunshine, Seattle offers some great coffee choices, not only to escape the rain but also to enjoy on their own merits.
There's a cafe on every corner of every street. Popular neighborhoods to drop by a cafe include Capitol Hill, Belltown, Fremont and the University district. Several nationwide chains are based here, these include Starbucks, Tully's, Seattles Best Coffee, Torrefazione, to name a few.
Neighborhoods are dotted with many unique and popular independent cafes such as Hines Public Market Coffee Roasters on Eastlake, Solstice Cafe and Zoka's in the University area, Bauhaus, Caffe Vitta, Victrola Coffee and Vivace make Capitol Hill their home. Pioneer Square's Zeitgeist and the nearby Elliott Bay Bookstore Cafe (located downstairs in this fabulous bookstore) are good choices. Frans Chocolate calls Seattle home, they have a store in University Village.
